1. Valve is Blocked
Large trucks and motorhomes like the ones from Freightliner have a huge tank on them. This is because they require a lot of fuel to function properly. Considering this, when it comes to filling up your tank, the user has to put in fuel from both sides.
There should be a lid covering the tanks that have to be removed before filling them up. Once you have your tanks filled, the user can start their vehicle and the fuel from the side tank should move into the main tank when it is required. This is all done through valves that carry the liquid.
Keeping this in mind, if your valve has some blockage in it then the fuel will be unable to flow into your tanks. Luckily, you can confirm this by opening your valves and checking if there are any blockages. Sometimes the problem can also be from your valves being shut off. 2. Check Vent Tube
The Freightliner trucks have a black plug in their tanks. This should have a vent tube coming from it that is tightly attached. Although, some people have reported that this tube came off and was preventing fuel from drawing out.
Additionally, another reason for this issue is that the connection for this tube was completely clogged with dust. Considering this, make sure that you check your vent tube properly to see what was causing the problem. Simply removing the dust from its connection should help you in getting rid of the issue in most cases.
3. Contact Your Dealer
