Seed tag tip: Pure live seed equals purity multiplied by germination. A 98% purity seed lot with 85% germination is 83.3% PLS, so more bulk seed is needed to hit the target live seed rate.
Blend tip: Large seeds and tiny seeds rarely spread the same way. If the breakdown shows both cereal grains and clover or brassica, consider separate passes so the small seed is not buried too deep.
