Tip 1: Always apply a 20% safety buffer. Battery capacity degrades over time, and real-world conditions (heat, cable resistance, inverter loss) reduce effective capacity. Never plan to fully drain your battery bank.
Tip 2: Measure actual amp draw for best accuracy. Use a clamp meter or battery monitor to record your fridge's real amp draw over 24 hours. This beats any manufacturer spec sheet for planning runtime.
